The New Game Plus mode lets hardcore gamers continue building their characters after the main story is completed, while those looking to relax can once again acquire pets and go fishing, and a new user interface was created to make Torchlight II more accessible to everyone. The game also offers full character customization, and includes the TorchEd modification editor so creative players can design special content. The biggest addition in Torchlight II is the co-op multiplayer, which offers a matchmaking service so friends can team up to battle monsters and collect loot. Gamers once again battle through the randomly generated dungeons of an ancient civilization, but now they can also explore aboveground areas and hub towns as well. Set years after the original game, players choose from a gun-toting Outlander, a spell-casting Embermage, a resourceful Engineer, or a dual-wielding Berseker, and then collect loot and experience by fighting monsters through a three-act storyline. Runic Games' popular Diablo-like series returns with four new character classes, new open-world areas to explore, and the addition of multiplayer functionality in Torchlight II. It lets you modify almost everything about Torchlight II, from item and skill balance, to level layouts, animations, quests, and much more.
